Many years ago, I narrowed my career choices to food service or the medical field. For the past 30 years, being a Certified Surgical Technologist in the operating room has been extremely rewarding. I always made time to bake for my family - cakes, cookies and pies; if it was out there I wanted to try it!
In 2011 I spotted a book about cake pops at the hospital book fair and thought to myself, "These are so cute! I have to make them!" My first attempt at cake pops was successful...so much so, I had to make a second batch because my husband didn't want to share! The cake pops made their way to work and gatherings with family and friends.
Soon I was getting orders for birthday parties, Valentine's Day, custom cake pops and more! Although I don't recall offering, my neighbors quickly accepted the role of "official taste testers".
After many years, this Cake Pop Lady decided to make a passionate hobby into a home based business and Blissful Bites LLC was born.
